Emmett
Emmett is located in Gem County which is best known for its breathtaking descent into the Valley of Plenty. The view from Freezeout Hill promises a land of fruit orchards, hometown festivals and family values in a rural country setting. Emmett is less than thirty minutes from Boise and offers outdoorsmen whitewater rafting, fishing and camping right outside their back door. The oldest continuously running festival in Idaho, the Emmett Cherry Festival, is celebrated annually during the second week of June and brings more than 80,000 visitors to town to share the hometown flavor provided in Gem County.
